The 6th LEEM-PEEM workshop was organised by the Synchrotron Light Laboratory Elettra, Trieste, Italy. It was held at the Stazione Marittima Congress Centre, 7-11 September 2008.

The workshop was attended by 130 participants and attracted 12 companies as exhibitors. 152 delegates were registered on the conference managment system.
