How to travel to TriesteBy AirTrieste International airport (Ronchi dei Legionari) has several national and international flights and is well connected to some European hubs from where it is possible to reach all the destinations around the world. Some national and international destinations like Birmingham, Budapest, Copenhagen, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Prague and Rome are directly reachable from Trieste. For Your convenience, please have a look at the Trieste airport timetable. The distance from the airport to Trieste (or ICTP) is about 35 km and direct connections are available by private shuttle and public bus. Venice International airport (Marco Polo) The distance from the airport to Trieste is about 150 km. It is connected daily to the nearby railway station of Mestre-Venezia (direct line to Trieste).
