Substrate-Driven Formation of Bidimensional Arrays of Co Nanocrystals in TiO2 Thin Films
Planar arrays of cobalt nanoparticles embedded in TiO2 layers prepared by pulsed laser deposition on amorphous Si3N4 membranes were studied by means of high resolution transmission electron microscopy, revealing the presence of Co nanocrystals arranged in bidimensional arrays at the film-substrate interface.

Photoionization of Acetonitrile with Synchrotron Radiation
The photoinduced ion chemistry of acetonitrile is investigated by using tuneable VUV synchrotron radiation in an octupolar ion guide with mass spectrometric detection. The appearance energies and yields of primary photoions and secondary ionic products are measured.

Conformational Sensitivity in Photoelectron Circular Dichroism of 3-Methylcyclopentanone
Temperature-dependent photoelectron circular dichroism (PECD) spectroscopy studies of the HOMO state and the carbonyl carbon 1s core-level allowed to separate the contributions of each conformer to the photoelectron dichroism.

Thermal switching of the magnetization in an iron film on a magnetically active template MnAs/GaAs(001)
The magnetization direction of a thin Fe film can be fully reversed in a thermal cycle of a few degrees close to room temperature, without making use of an external magnetic field.

Interplay between Supramolecularity and Substrate Symmetry in the Dehydrogenation of D‑Alaninol on Cu(100) and Cu(110) Surfaces
In this paper we report, by combination of photoelectron spectroscopy, low-energy electron diffraction, and density functional theory calculations, on the adsorption of the D-enantiomer of alaninol on Cu(100) and on Cu(110) with the aim of revealing dehydrogenation in the formation of the molecular chiral superstructure.

Resonant Circular Dichroism of Chiral Metal-Organic Complex
A sizable enhancement of the circular dichroism in photoelectron spectroscopy has been measured and computed for the metal complex -cobalt(III) tris-acetylacetonate highest occupied molecular orbital state in the region of the Co 3p-3d Fano resonance.
