Discover more about our main activities below. Activities are described in short but you can have more details by visinting the specific page link.

Control Systems
Control systems are essential for the operation of the light sources and experiments at Elettra. The Control Systems team develops, implements, and manages control systems of the accelerators and of the support infrastructures. This enable the operations of the machines and in turn allows scientists to conduct complex experiments. For more details please visit the  Control Systems page.

ICT System and Services
This team manage the ICT infrastructure at Elettra, which includes network services, servers, user support, and storage systems to ensure the smooth operation of our organization. This team work continuously to provide a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment. For more details please visit the ICT Systems and Services page.

Software for Experiments
This team develops specialized software to manage and analyze the experiments conducted at Elettra and FERMI beamlines. These tools support researchers at every stage, from data acquisition to results analysis, improving the quality and efficiency of scientific research. For more details please visit the Software for Experiments  page.
Business Intelligence
This team use business intelligence to support the strategic decisions of the center. The activities include collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to provide useful insights to decision-makers, contributing to improved operational efficiency and the achievement of institutional goals. For more details please visit the Business Intelligence page.

Scientific and Quantum Computing
This team is actively engaged in research and development in scientific and quantum computing. The work of this team supports researchers in solving complex problems, using advanced simulation techniques and leveraging the potential of quantum computing to address new scientific challenges. For more details please visit the Scientific and Quantum Computing page.
