For having greatly enhanced the scope and depth of the collaboration between ICTP and Elettra SincotroneTrieste, leading to a major expansion of the Elettra users’ community in the developing world, and a parallel increase in the use of synchrotron radiation in basic and applied research, as well as for technical and scientific training.
