Elettra Fellows 2021
Amor Nadji
Dr. A. Nadji is a distinguished accelerator physicist of international reputation who has given fundamental contributions to the design and simulations of particle accelerators, in fields ranging from linear and non-linear electron beam dynamics in storage rings to synchrotron radiation production, as well as commissioning and operating procedures
for storage rings. Dr. Nadji has been a member of the Machine Advisory Committee (MAC) of Elettra SincrotroneTrieste since 2012 and over the last nine years has provided our institution with many valuable suggestions in areas ranging from machine simulations to commissioning and operating procedures, greatly contributing to the success of our organization.
Karsten Horn
Prof. KarstenHorn has contributed greatly to the science performed at Elettra, he chaired the Proposal Review Panel and joined the ElettraScientific Advisory Council (SAC). Prof. Horn has provided our institution with invaluable advice in the field of photoelectron spectroscopy of 2D systems and in different areas of science using synchrotron radiation techniques, greatly contributing to the success of our organization.
Maria Novella Piancastelli
Maria Novella Piancastelli world-recognized expert in the field, she played a crucial role in the definition of our strategies, she was involved in the development of the scientific case for the Gas Phase Photoemission beamline and participated in the Scientific Advisory Council (SAC). Prof. Piancastelliprovided Elettraand our partners with invaluable advice in the field of photoelectron spectroscopy with synchrotron and free-electron laser radiation, greatly contributing to the success of our organization.
