Office activation
Option 1: From the Backstage view
- Open an Office 2010 (e.g. Word 2010) and click the File tab.
- Click the Help tab and then click the Change Product Key link.
- Enter the product key found at http://www.elettra.eu/sn and click “Continue.” On the next dialog, click “Install Now” to install your key. You will see a progress bar page and then a dialog box saying configuration has been successful. Click “Close.”
- Close and restart the application and follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation (an internet connection is required). After restarting your Office application once more, click File tab | Help to see your activated status.
Option 2: From Control Panel
- Click on Start Menu > Control Panel > Programs and Features (or Add/Remove Programs, depending on your operating system). Click on your product, e.g. Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010, then click “Change” on the top menu.
- Select the option to “Enter a Product Key.”
- Enter the appropriate product key found at http://www.elettra.eu/sn and click “Continue.” On the next dialog, click “Install Now” to install your key. You will see a progress bar page and then a dialog box saying configuration has been successful. Click “Close.”
- Close and restart the application and follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation (an internet connection is required). After restarting your Office application once more, click File tab | Help to see your activated status.
TIPS: Word has stopped working
- Microsoft Word 2010 Stops Working and prompts to open in Safe Mode when reopening.
- Login to Windows 7 using an account with administrator priviledges Open Microsoft Word 2010 in normal mode (not Safe Mode) as if creating a new document.
- Select "File", "Options", "Add-Ins", Manage: "COM Add-Ins" and click on "Go".
- Uncheck COM Add-Ins "Send to Bluetooth" if the following: "Location: C:\Program Files\Motorola\Bluetooth\btmofficea.dll" and "Load Behavior: Load at Startup."
- Click "OK".
- Close Word and open any Word document.
Note: Installing Office 2010 Service Pack 1 does not resolve the issue.
