Round table: the technology to realise our goals. Chair and introduction: Ralf Menk |
The round table will consist of short contributions (5-10 minutes) from members of a panel detailing what is presently possible in spectroscopy and imaging with state-of-the-art instrumentation, and including a wish-list for what is needed 5 years from now. This will be followed by an open discussion, or will include it if participants wish. The goal is to focus on the future and to produce a document summarising views of the participants on priorities for technological developments. Presentations by three major Italian manufacturers of equipment for synchrotron beamlines, Cinel, Jobin-Yvon Italia and RMP. |
